Time and Date:: Late Winter - Early Afternoon
Weather:: Very cloudy, but still bright and warm
Previous Threads:: None
Normally, Agnes would have gone to the village farm to get more feed for her animals, but this time round, she wanted them to have a fresher meal. She knew a few spots where berries and carrots grew, so she set out in the morning, hoping to gather supplies before others. After all, these spots she knew about weren't really secret.
To get there faster, she rode on Felix's back. The Flightmare was calm as they walked through the undergrowth. The old dragon gurgled happily when Agnes rubbed his snout from her saddle. His breed would normally glow in bioluminescence, but because of his strict, non-algae diet, he had no light whatsoever, allowing others to see his dark green scales, and bright blue eyes.
"Almost there, Felix." The dragon huffed in exhaustion. His age was making it harder and harder to travel like this. Agnes knew to accept it, but she was still devastated to know her friend would eventually become too frail to even walk at all.
"Tell you what... When we get there, I'll give you some of the carrots, alright?" The flightmare immediately picked up his pace. Carrots always seemed to make him do whatever she wanted, not that she used that to her advantage.
The field was in an open area, though the trees still loomed overhead, only allowing patches of sunlight to enter. And it was in these patches that the special vegetables grew. Unfortunately, only a few were actually ready to be picked, seeing as it was still winter.
She hopped off Felix and made her way through the rows of protruding leaves coming from the ground. "I guess it's your lucky day, Felix. There's enough carrots to give you some of the extras."
Even though the dragon was 50 years old, he still bounced in delight at the news. Unbeknownst to the two, they weren't the only ones who were in the field...
