Skrill
Physical Description: Skrills are small wyvern-like dragons, that walk on their hind legs. They have a long head with their eyes near the front. Their jaws are lined with small evenly shaped triangular teeth. They have a small nose horn and a fan of spines at the base of the skull. Skrills have a short, broad neck and a short serpentine body. The spines on their back grow larger near the middle of the spine before going small again. These spines have a metallic property to them. Skrill wings are large, with a very big "thumb" claw. Their wings are often have tear drop like patterns on them.
Typical Behaviour: Skrills are extremely dangerous and hostile to anyone who enters their airspace. They tend to be very solitary. They are attracted to electrical storms.
Abilities: Unlike most dragons, Skrills are able to shoot lightning. They draw electricity from the storms they are in, and direct it through their mouths in a concentrated stream. The electric nature of the attack means they are able to hit multiple targets at once! They can also store electricity they keep for later. In theory, this means whilst a Skrill is in an active electrical storm, their shot limit is essentially limitless as long as they can continue to absorb lightning. Skrills absorb lightning through their metallic spines and wing thumbs.
Skrills can hibernate in blocks of ice, almost in like a cryogenic state. They can stay alive in the ice for decades at a time.
Drawbacks: If a Skrill is grounded, or in water, they are unable to use their electric attack, since the electricity grounds.
Training Methods: Skrills are incredibly difficult to train. It will take a lot of patience to subdue this highly agressive dragon.
Habitat: Skrills hardly settle. They are always in search of electrical storms.
Diet: They most likely eat fish.
