It was close to the time when they would normally go to bed when Curtis came and said he had something to show her. The dragons were already asleep, but the way he was acting convinced her that this was something... different. This wasn't usually how he asked if she wanted to go for a walk. She followed without complaint, curious to see what he was up to.
Once outside, he started along a route they often took. They went out the village and into the woods along a familiar path. It was a little chilly out, but pretty warm for a day during this time of year. He made a comment about the nighttime in the forest. The full moon did make everything seem even more beautiful in its light. She agreed with a nod of the head, uninterested in making a response and too curious about where he was going with all this to come up with one. She looked around carefully, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
When they reached the end of their typical route, Curtis led on, heading toward the mountain. He obviously knew where he was going, but Luna had never really explored this specific area. He led right past the foothills and up into the craggy landscape, advising her to be careful as she ascended a structure in the rock much like a natural staircase, and at the top, he led her around to a clearing with a few trees and a body of water in the middle.
"Wow..." she breathed. She went up to the edge of the water and knelt down. It was a really pretty spot- the moon shone down on the perfectly clear water, making it look glassy. In the middle, bubbles rose from the spring. She reached down and put her hand in the water, swirling it around. It was nice and warm- she was going to get in. She smiled, rising to her feet.
Luna took a few steps back before taking her clothes off, dropping them in a messy pile. When she was done, she ran her hand through her hair and tossed it back. The chill in the air made goosebumps appear on her bare skin. Looking over, she noticed Curtis looking at her. "What are you looking at?" she said with a playful smirk. Shrugging her shoulders, she went on to say "Well, I don't know about you, but I'm getting in!" Luna took a running start before leaping in, squealing as she hit the water with a splash.
