Even with a default setting of a toothy grin and a glimmer to her eye Boom has an assortment of at least forty different expressions; she's quick to laugh, roar, and rage all the same. Her hands are square shaped and calloused, riddled with little nicks and scars that do as much talking as any other part of her. Her strides are long and confident, and carry as much authority as can be fitted into her stout and expressive little figure.

The eyes are a bizarre amber-gold not unlike a forge's fire, and her hair is a color that can't decide whether it's more of a pale orange or strawberry blonde - either way, with her ruddy and sun-tanned skin she looks a little fire-touched. Her hair is thick and it gets in the way, so it's most often trapped in an unkempt braid that waves more than it curls with quite a few stubborn and escaping strands. Sometimes she weaves flowers into it, delicate and off-setting as they may be.

With a name as illustrative as Doomhammer, you would expect the fine sophistication afforded of grisly warriors and brutal blacksmiths and that is exactly the sort of background that she comes from. Following in a long line of prodigies in the field of war and weapon creation and maintenance, she was raised with the expectation to be the best out of at least one of those two areas and had to strive for it.
Like most privledged children, she grew up in the unusual dichotomy of luxury and severe expectation. A bit of a brat when she was a child, she loved her family name as much as she hated the responsibility of it - it let her get away with murder, but it also meant that she had to be stronger and more "talented" then her peers. Sometimes she was a bully and sometimes she pumelled the bullies, usually all in the same day and with equal amounts of passion.
Being an adolescent didn't make things easier, either. In fact, it made things endlessly harder on top of all of the crud that comes with the teenage years like acne and moodswings. As a Viking In Training, she was quite the little celebrity with even more internalized performance anxiety and faux-arrogance to cover up her secretly shaking knees. Almost all her classmates were prettier, but there were few as ruthlessly dedicated to success and really just going out of the way to be a functional badass. She had a persona to keep up, but all of that backfired horribly when she bonded to her dragon.
It wasn't the dragon she'd wanted. She'd wanted something sleek and deadly like a Monsterous Nightmare or at least something sort of rare and cool, but no - it was an Odin-damned Gronckle (creature of the plebians) from the family's smith shop and it wasn't going to let anything else have her.
To this day, shrugs at anyone who asks and says the dragon nip in her pocket or stepping into range of a nearby falling bucket of water and taking the hit must've done the job and won a family pet over to her specifically. She won't confess the dragon's sympathy towards her - how it curled up next to her to offer her comfort as she cried, but it's something that happened and something that changed her.
From that point onward the pint-sized beast was more stuck on her then some of the other young Viking's were stuck on each other's faces, and after much fuss and displeasure poor Boom had no choice but to adapt to having her toes licked every night and public humiliation. She has come to love it, begrudgingly. She's even become fairly knowledgable and passionate on the Gronckle's skills and benefits, advocating for them and their importance on the battlefield.
At this point in time she's on the younger side of actual Dragon Riders, and has more in common with VIT's than her new team mates as much as she would loathe to admit it. She's still growing into her own shoes, and works tirelessly not to see it or show it.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Giant ornate iron hammer and shield that just so happen to be family heirlooms she lugs around. Spiked copper knuckles and/or rings, and any sort of easily accessible knife or simple bludgeoning object on or near her person.
FIGHTING STYLE: If her choice weapons aren't telling enough, her fighting style is rough and tumble as well as up close and personal. She hits hard and she doesn't always play fair. Unafraid of being creative or stupid, "ruthless" and "reckless" compete for most fitting adjective.

DRAGON APPEARANCE: Well, as a Gronckle Lockjaw is pretty nondescript; some faded color between tan and orange makes up the bulk of the creature's body, with darker red-brown highlights that make the beast only a shade less impressive than some of the rock formations on the island. There's nothing in particular that helps her stand out, she's got the same stubby limbs and undersized wings of the rest of her breed. Her eyes are the same reptilian yellow that you'd expect, carrying herself with the tentative grace her bulky stout figure affords.
DRAGON PERSONALITY: A small creature of great devotion, affection, sympathy, empathy, and laziness - a fine caricature of basically everything that her handler is not. With good humor and a gentle disposition, there is no doubting that Lockjaw is as steady a support system as she is anything else. The very caricature of "slow and steady wins the race", the dragon is remarkably patient and subdued - and also very enduring. Simple and devout loyalty become her, causing her to sometimes questionably follow in her master's footsteps - perhaps sometimes a little guiltily.
