Time and Date:: February the 4th
Weather:: Clear sky. Thick layer of snow.

What a beautiful day outside. The thick clouds above Berk finally left the island, ravaging the seas with snow that will only melt into the ocean. The water would only be more fresh, allowing the brave ones - or the fool ones - to do something close to suicide by bathing into it. Hopefully, few people are this crazy. But the ocean is not where this story happens. Watching the waves over the ocean's surface is quite relaxing but everything is happening deep into it. This is why we won't narrate what is going on down there. The water is too cold.
On a day like this, most people and dragons on Berk were happy to finally get out and play with the snow without the trouble of getting a lot of it over their body. It was also way more pleasant to do things beneath a clear sky, bathed into the warmth and the brightness of the Sun. Some others decided they should not get out and rest instead. It was cold outside and warm inside. Why would people get out ? This is what Brand thought when he peeked outside but with one more reason.
The snow and the Sun together made the outside way too bright. It was annoying and hurts eyes.
The viking imagined he would have been able to sleep all today's morning, but he was wrong. Lazyness was not allowed in this house, mostly when it was :
- It's cleaning day today, Brand ! exclaimed his mother after opening the young man's room. So stop sleeping that way, get up and help us or you won't have any dessert this evening !
Right where it hurts.
The viking groaned some and finally got up, rubbing his hair a bit to not make it look like chaos.
- I made lot of work yesterday...
- Excuses, excuses ! She pinched his nose, frowning some. I know it's not supposed to be a man's work but if you don't learn to do it, no one else will teach you ! Hurry up, if it's not perfect until the Sun is high into the sky, what I said will become real.
Leaving Brand in peace for now, the dragon healer apprentice rubbed his nose before nodding. Since he understood, his mother finally got outside. The young man let out a sigh and opened his windows, shivering a bit at the sudden cold. It would be better to not waste time. Brand would start by grabbing his blankets and shaking them outside, passing his arms through the window. Then some clothes. His scarf did not seem to be on a chair this time. A little bit stressed about that, he started looking for the red cloth and found it within seconds, beneath his bed. It was dusty down there. Too much to let the scarf in that place. Brand grabbed it and approached the window, shaking it as well.
But wind came to make things more interresting. The cloth slipped between Brand's fingers, flying away for a bit. The human watched it going away with fear, hoping it would just fall down. Nope. The wind blew quite strongly today. It brought the scarf far enough to make it enter a Terrible Terror's sight.
*It was red. Flying. Weird-looking. It must be something great !* thought the small dragon. *Better show it to my friends !*
Basically, this is how a sunny winter day became hell for a single person over all of Berk. Knowing that shouting to the Terrible Terror would be useless because of his voice's strength, Brand chose to get out by the windows, catching its edge as he jumped over it, his feet landing against the house's outer wall. Closer to the ground, he just dropped himself to the ground before running toward the flying dragon who got the scarf between its jaws.
- You will give it back to me you stupid lizard ! the viking 'shouted'. If you don't I'll roast you ! Three times !
No one but the people close to Brand while he ran around could hear these. The Terrible Terrible just didn't care, having no clue about the angry human chasing him down.
