PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Miron stands at six feet tall, with a standard Viking build that just about allows him to move around in his heavy gear, but impedes on his movement speed because of it. He has short, black hair and a slightly scruffy beard that helps mask a few of the scars on his chin and cheeks. Relatively white-skinned, he weighs approximately 89 Kilograms unarmored. Whilst he has no markings across his body, he does possess a few scars that soon became classified as trophies. Majority of these are centered on his torso. Firstly, there are several diagonal scars that extend from the shoulder to the hip, easily recognizable as they were inflicted by the claw of a Deadly Nadder. Furthermore, the primary damage consists of burn scarring all across the torso and arms, the result of attempting to fight off a Monstrous Nightmare. As well as causing him physical pain, these scars have left Miron with mental fears, which has him wearing heavy armor to add a layer of protection against Dragon attacks. Clothing wise, Miron tends to be armored up heavily, in an only barely matching set of steel and iron plates that are held together by leather straps and cloth segments. The helmet itself covers Miron’s head and face, giving him a psychological edge over his targets. Pouches are lined around the waist, usually containing miniature bottles of Dragon substances for bolts to be dipped in, and a quiver is attached to the back-plate, holding several heavy, deep-piercing bolts.

HISTORY: Born in the Winter, Miron was introduced into the world by the Outcast Tribe. Having been born on the dangerous Outcast Island, he had to learn how to fend off dangerous beasts; primarily Dragons. Once he was of age, still only young, his Viking Parents taught him how to fight. Knowing that their numbers were small, the Vikings banded together to ensure that they could at least survive on the dangerous Island. Due to this, they didn’t have the numbers to face Dragons in close combat, and so they took to Bows and Crossbows alike, forging deep-piercing arrows and bolts out of steel, iron and, at times, Dragon Bone that they acquired from the defeated Dragons.
Having learned this trade and taught that Combat and War are the only things that matter, he and his parents went out to Hunt through the rocky plains, becoming of age to personally slay a Dragon. Easily caught off-guard, a Monstrous Nightmare descended upon the three. Without much hassle, it capably wiped out his parents, but they had given Miron enough time to get away. With the way back to the Tribe’s area being blocked, and fear coursing through him, he turned tails and ran.
After disposing of his primary family, the Dragon went after Miron. Despite the adrenaline, just as he got near the coast of the Island, the Nightmare shot out its fire, Miron catching the end of the blast before tumbling into the water. Had it not been for a group of Dragon Trappers that had ventured to the Outcast Islands, Miron wouldn’t have survived, but fortunately for him, the Trappers managed to catch the beast and dragged the twenty-year-old boy onto their boat before setting sail.
Having been treated, Miron found himself in the care of the Dragon Trappers that were sailing towards their ‘employer’. Though grievously injured, it was evident he’d live seeing as the water he dropped into allowed the fire to disperse, but the blast was damaging enough to ensure that his false ribs would be cracked, resulting in recurring pain that persists to this day.
The Trappers questioned Miron, and decided they’d drop him off with the employer. For the long amount of time that he did sail with them, he learned a lot about the importance of money and just how far it allowed people to get, something that stuck with him ever since. After several days if not weeks of sailing, they finally made it to the Dragon Hunter Island. There, he gained the trust of the Dragon Hunters by murdering the captured Nightmare, taking revenge for his parents and slaying his first Dragon.
He spent a decade with the Dragon Hunters, helping the Trappers Hunt down the beasts for the Dragon Hunters to sport against. Through this, he began earning rewards, usually in the form of reinforced armor that he was insistent on wearing after the encounter with the Nightmare. Alas, he did also accept monetary gain, as well as resources off the killed Dragons to advance his weapons, such as Toxic Nightshade Venom, or Flightmare Mist.
After sticking with this regime for so long, he decided that he wanted to explore other venues, get more involved on a larger scale. He left the Dragon Hunters and Trappers alike after being dropped off on Berk, from where he continued his journey and attempted to get hired by important factions in order to continue Trapping, Killing or Hunting for Dragons.
FAMILY: Both of Miron’s parents were killed, and he never returned to the Outcast Tribe. Whilst he did regard the Trappers and Dragon Hunters with respect, he never saw them as family or anything more than comrades and employers. Hence, he tends to be alone.
--
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Miron only carries two primary weapons on him. His Crossbow and Short-Sword. The latter is only ever used if the enemy gets close, but he’s far more superior with ranged combat. Using his Outcast skills and a good eye that was trained by the Trappers, he proves himself to be a great shot, utilizing heavy bolts with thick (usually steel) arrowheads to pierce Dragon Scales. He recognizes Dragons to be very dangerous, going as far as coating certain bolts with different substances, such as Flightmare Mist, Toxic Nightshade Venom and even Nightmare Spit (Kerosene Gel), for different damage-dealing purposes.
FIGHTING STYLE: Miron does his best to keep a good amount of distance between himself and his target. When fighting Humans or typical beasts, he’ll always go for the legs unless he has a definite kill-shot. This is done in order to slow down enemies. Similar logic applies to Dragons, but instead the aim is usually for the wings rather than legs. Specifically when targeting Dragons, Miron will dip the arrowheads of the bolts in different containers that are within belt pouches, which in turn are attached to the cloth around his waist. Depending on the species of Dragon he goes up against (examples: target throat for Thunderdrum, Tail Wings for Night Fury, etc.), he’ll target them with these dangerous, advanced weapons, doing so at a range. Unable to move around at a speed due to the armor, Miron relies on the plating to take most of the pressure off him whilst he puts his trained eye to good use.
