GENDER & SEXUALITY:
Male, Straight
LIKES:
*Ship/Boat building
*Being in the forest; in a way being there brings out his spiritual side
*The Third is plundering so make sure you have nothing of value laying out or else it's his.

*Snooping out around the village and other's homes; don't ask why just assume he's doing good hopefully.
DISLIKES:
*Non-believers in the Gods; you so much as make a joke about them and you'll erase all respect from him.
*He is not so keen on newcomers; his trust is hard to come by even if it seems at times he's having a good old time he's still on the inside very much aware of your strange differences and customs. Anyone he meets he'll treat as fairly..being wary.
*Hysterians, yes he was one of them at one time in his life but the thought of a Hysterian even seeing him is something he so much tries to avoid
*Dragons..but not as much as the Hysterians do...it's more of mixed messages. He is old enough to of seen when the Hysterian dragons were friendly then went rebellious..so he has these mixed feelings for the beast..but he wouldn't mind being near on he would favor.

WEAKNESSES:
*Being Socialy-Awkward, Floki becomes very inappropriate at times, say something bad happens and he may just have a laugh to give or a sly smile to show.
*Floki likes to give fighting strikes from behind a barrier to the unexpected foe, he is good at one-on-one but prefers a barrier strike due to his lithe frame and lack of good fighting muscles.
*Floki is not so keen on Dragons, being an outcast of Hysteria he still has the attitude they would have; he'll tolerate them and watch from a distance but usually keeps to himself from them.
*No self-awareness, He'll say what's on his mind whether danger would follow afterwards.
FEARS:
*That any ship he makes will not work as he wanted it too; his high love for ship making persuades him to continue but as soon as it is finished he begins to have second thoughts on if it will work...or sink.
*Having his ships tampered or taken, or not being the Captain of it. It's his creations and he'd rather be the one caring for them or sailing than allowing anyone else to do so.
*Another Hysterian will find him. Becoming an Outcast from Hysteria had no settlement on the attitudes between him and those who may of heard of him as well.
*Anyone finding out about his past; he'll occasionally make up stories of how he got to Berk and what his past was, each new Viking he finds he riddles away with a tale..but if anyone confronts him about it he becomes silent like a stone.

SECRETS:
*If Floki does not have anything to sacrifice to the gods he will occasionally plunder for farm animals as a replacement
* Beliefs he is a reincarnation of the Mischief God Loki
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Long frame of a body and skinny; almost appearing like a giant to others because of how tall he is. Messy light brown hair with the front-side of his head exposed. His face a bit rough from the elements yet a strange aura of power can be seen, especially from the war paint that he always wears around his eyes and tears down his cheeks which slightly touch the cheek bristle of a beard, a small goatee on his chin and lower lip..and a moustache between his upper lip and nose; he usually ties or brads the small goatee.
He occasionally wears a rusty red leather vest with a sown-up cut on the side and a few holes on the shoulders from wearing it so much. Underneath is a pale brown long sleeved shirt with two brown leather gloves covering his hands. His pants are long and a bit baggy and a light brown with small boots covered in fur on the outside. On colder days his long-sleeved shirt will be replaces with a medium coat of a wolf's hide with belts around it to keep the sides from dropping down to much or making him seem so big in it. You'll see small belt pockets around his waist that help him carry his knife, small forest herbs or help keep his hatchet next to his hip.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Floki is an eccentric and joyful man, often you will see him singing a small tone out loud or merely being happy and a bit joyously jumpful. He has a bizarre and zany air about him and is often the source of entertainment among others...but sometimes this can seem a bit inappropriate for serious moments. Despite his seemingly nonchalant and apparently strange façade, Floki is very dedicated to and proud of his work. He finds joy in ship-building, and often laughs during his plunders. He is also fiercely devoted to the faith of the Gods.
Floki is extremely Loyal to his friends..if he ever acquires any that is; who wouldn't want to be on the good side of a psychopath? You certainly don't want be his enemy.
HISTORY:
A young lad born in the Bigger part of Hysteria in June 23rd; born into a family of crafts-Vikings, building mostly of the woods that surrounded them. The Gustaf Clan were well known crafters by the Great Tribe leaders that they were ruled under..except for the young lad; who found it more funny to play his own games and craft his own things and keeping them to himself instead of making gifts for his Tribes leaders. The young Viking was quite confusing once some viewed him talking in whispers to trees after cutting them down; taking precious time to perfect each piece and wouldn't allow anyone to touch his creations let along look at it.
With the mischievous boy growing up so quickly, his behaviors became more strange; especially during the time of the rebellion of the Dragons. Only a young age of 13 years; his understanding of the Rebellion still confused him to this day. They had owned a juvenile Nadder as a family companion and worker with wood when the piles were stacked high and heavily to make the work go by much faster...and Floki had the closest relationship to the Nadder, feeding the big brute and exploring where the dragon would fly to. But when the Rebellion struck, the dragons were chased away. Floki's reaction was telling everyone to stop, he didn't want to see the beasts leave but the way they both were acting toward one another it was dangerous to everyone else...and his cries to stop were unheard. Even his own family friend was chased off. Floki had chased after him calling back trying to tell him to stay out of his own pitiful cries of heart-ship for the Nadder; but his family held him back and that was seemingly the last of the dragons they were to ever see as friends.
He wouldn't play with the other kids his age after the Rebellion happened; he mostly wandered alone like he did before, in the wooded areas of Hysteria by himself, laughing at himself occasionally either out of his own hurt or a crazed hateful feel in his head that could only be resolved by his own chuckling...even evidence of him slaughtering an animal by cutting it's neck and having a bowl of blood taken back to his house asking it to be a sacrifice for the gods to bring the dragons back...but his parents would always toss it out thinking he was crazy...and feared each time that what blood he used...
Time flew and at about the age of 25 his strong faith in the Gods made him believe that all the Hysterians were doing wrong by not sacrificing like he did; this angered him. Everyday when he'd sneak into the villages to go home he saw no sacrifice animals he about lost it. He grabbed for a lamb from a market store and held it up to the crowd splitting the neck over his own bowl repeating, "This makes the gods happy!" But when the crowd screamed and a few chanted back to him saying he was a mad-man for doing that and mothers shielding their child’s eyes, he grew more mad and chanted back, "Gods are unhappy with you! Curse you who do not follow their desires!" This got him in big trouble, being one man and almost one hundred civilians against him. Luckily his parents got him out of there before any other severe damage was done...but Floki was not done with this.
After a few nights Floki sat in his room thinking hard; never coming out except for water. An idea in his head to sacrifice something more than a animal...
After gathering up his things he set out late in the morning and snuck into the village nearest his home. Knocking out someone who'd been heavily drinking with a rock to the back of the skull. Dragging the limb man..who weighed much more than he did. After a long..heavily slow moving trek back to his house and setting the stirring body on the stump of a tree usually used for chopping wood for stove-fire. Floki slit the man's neck right as the eyes had opened and whispered thanks in pleasing the gods.
In the morning Floki was still over the body getting as much sacrificial blood for the Gods as he could...and an angry village mob about what happened earlier were now witnesses to the death of a man by another..some of them being close to the Leader Hrothgar.
A sly look on Floki's face with a almost sinister happy laugh made some of the mob back up and others fear of moving stayed put. Only a few came at him and Floki was quick to react; slicing into the chests and slitting the throats. His family had seen it all from inside their closed up home. After the count of five dead carcasses below Floki's feet, the rest of the mob backed off and swarmed back to the village not with complaints this time but weaponry.
Snapping out of his minor rage-killing spree mood, Floki saw the damage that had been done and the evidence on his hands. Looking to his only built boat; he jumped to it in an almost insane attempt to escape, carrying only the supplies that were on the boat when he was making it and half eaten food, his long knife and hatchet..and his insanity.
Coming to Berk almost seemed to kill him; his body more bone looking and starving for anything he could find..even if he did seem to find a few dead fish at the side-banks he landed on. He was sick for a few weeks from eating the fish but at least they were filling him up in a way. Learning there was a new Village and the only village on this island made him feel a bit safer. Stealing livestock and savagely killing wild animals for food until he established a well made cabin at the western part of the island a few miles off from Berk village..and has remained their for 9 years..remembering what he did and masking it with the social awkward personalities he acquired from living alone. Occasionally now since he's lived longer here and food does go scarce and stealing isn't always the option; Floki will make large structured boats in exchange for things he wants. He makes one at least every 3 months or so to get supplies he needs from Berk.
WEAPON OF CHOICE:
Instead of traditional Viking weapons such as the spear and long Axe, Floki prefers a small hatchet and a long knife.
FIGHTING STYLE:
Floki's fighting style is unusual but practical. Rather than taking a stand in the shield wall or "skjaldborg", where his skinny frame and lack of muscle would put him at a disadvantage in the shoving match, Floki will stand behind, pull through and savagely butcher any enemy unwary or stupid enough to let himself be caught. This tactic worked even against larger and stronger opponents as the enemy would be dazed and confused at being ripped through a barrier-wall and then Floki's speed and use of two weapons will quickly finish the opponent, who is unguarded and encumbered with a heavy shield. All in all this speaks for his quick thinking and, despite his skinny stature, being a lethal adversary who was not afraid to defy what is "usual" and invent his own ways. The man to cross the weak-looking eccentric warrior would be in for more than he'd bargained for.
