Whispering Death
Physical Description: Whispering deaths are amphitheres, that means they posses only a pair of wings and no limbs at all. They have large, round heads, and a long trailing body behind them. The size of their heads is undoubtedly because of their jaws. They have massive outer teeth, almost as long as a viking! Inside their mouth is where the real terror lives, though. Their mouth harbours several rows of small, serrated teeth, that can rotate, which usually is used to chew up the earth and dig tunnels, can also be a gruesome end to a viking. They have small, eyes that are near-blind, just being a short nose horn. They have a short crest of spines, usually red in colour at the base of the skull. Their lower jaw is covered in spines, as well as the rest of their bodies. They have two rows of spines on their bellies, and spines on their back in a similar manner to a Deadly Nadder. They have two short, stubby wings.
Typical Behaviour: Whispering Deaths may live in groups or by themselves. They mostly stay underground, so it's not been documented what their typical behaviour is. They have been known however to be hostile on contact, especially if creatures unknowlingly enter their dens. Whispering Deaths often have a hierarchy system when in groups, with the strongest having control over the others, like in the instance of an Alpha Screaming Death. They are ambush predators, hiding underground, and striking at the last minute. You only know if they are about to attack, because they make no noise, only a faint whispering can be heard.
Abilities: The most notable factor of Whispering Death's are their rows of rotating teeth in their mouth. It's powerful enough to turn anything that touches them to shreds, whether it be rocks and minerals, to prey. They can also spin their teeth in reverse, which creates a powerful sucking force like a vacuum cleaner! With their strong jaws, they can burrow large networks of tunnels in the ground. Since they have bad eyesight, they can sense vibrations in the earth with their spines, almost like a cat's whiskers.
Whispering Death's can spit rings of fire, naturally shaped by their spinning teeth. They can also shoot spines like a Deadly Nadder from any part of their body!
Drawbacks: Since they spend most of their time underground, their eyesight is very poor, and strong sunlight can harm them. Also due to the time they spend underground, matched with their small wings means they are poor fliers.
Training Methods: Whispering Death's love to have their teeth brushed... If you have the guts to stand in front of a mouth full of rotating teeth.
Habitat: Whispering Deaths mostly live underground. Once they have hatched, they usually stay in the same place they have hatched.
Diet: Like most Boulder class dragon, they mostly eat rocks, but they can eat meat and fish like other dragons too.
