Axe Head
Physical Description: Large and heavily built, this dragon gives the impression of being quite the brute but in reality it is nothing more than a gentle giant. The plates around it's face, tail as well as it's claws are all formed of a tough, steel-like chitin and allows this tank of a dragon to throw it's weight around without hurting itself. The hide of an Axe Head is primarily earth toned with some specimens having near obsidian or terracotta scales. The plates on it face have been observed in varying metallic shades from silver to bronze or gold.

Typical Behaviour: Mostly gentle and docile, you would have to really rile an Axe Head up to get it to attack you. Once tamed however this dragon can have a real stubborn streak in it.
Abilities: It takes little more than a glance to see this dragon is build for smashing things. A head charge from this beast can easily knock down the sturdiest wall and a swing from it's muscular tail could cleave a ship mast in two. His breath is similar to that of a Gronckles in that it needs to eat rocks in order to charge an attack and the flame itself is expelled in bolts.
Drawbacks: With all that size and strength this dragon was never meant to be a flyer. Oh it will get you from A to B with no trouble but you'll wish it came with an in-flight movie. It does not possess much in the way of agility either, both in the air and on the ground. When up against an opponent this dragon would stare it down with four feet planted and wait for the attack.
Training Methods: Most riders must work to gain this dragon's respect in order to get it to listen to them. That or bride it with plenty of fish. However once respect is earned then this dragon it fiercely loyal and would selflessly muscle it's way between it's rider and harm.
