Barbaric Warbeast
Physical Description: Warbeast's body shape and face can easily be compared to that of a horse, much bigger and wider in the the chest and hips and tend to be much thicker boned than regular horses. The average size is about the height of a draft horse. They are an earthbound species so no wings and thy have very short tails that end about a foot away from the coccyx. They have two horns on their heads and their shape varries among the individual, and color also varrys. The most common are darker colors because they are a naturaly notornal species, so darker colors find an easier time hunting. They can be dark shades of blue, red, green, brown and even black. The Warlords feet have four toes and the centers have a hard boney pad used for delivering kicks hard enough to break stones. They have a stripe of feathers down their necks starting between their horns and it runs all the way to the tip of the tail, the thickest longest feathers are on their necks and shoulders. More masculine males with have thicker-more exotic colored feathers , were as females normaly have thinner-darker colors. The warlord gets its name from their spirit to fight and their ability to fight to the death over dominance, mates and food. They possess claws, horns, boney pads for kicking and long sharp teeth. Female's cannine teeth arent as long because they generaly dont have to fight for much, were as the males flaunt their exotic feather colors and large tusk-like wolf-teeth (im using horse terms) to attract a mate and run off younger males. Their skin is also very thick and tends to not rip or tear very easily.

Typical Behaviour: Male dragons are highly agressive, they will rarely listen to humans, especialy when a female dragon is around. They also only respect those who they see are 'fit to lead.' defeating it in a dominance challange is essential to owning a Warlord. Females on the otherhand are much less of a pain. They are typicly more levelheaded and tend to trust people abit easier. The reason they are called warlords is because when two groups attack eachother, its like a war that goes on for days, weeks or even months. They are very territorial and have a strict heiarchy.
Abilities: They can breathe a short range fire that emits low light, in a similar manner to a bunsen burner, so that blasting flames in the dark wont reveal them. However, when attracting mates or intimidating other Warlords they brighten their flames as bright as they can. They are masters of close combat. Their kicks are bone shattering to even the largest dragon species. Thick skin makes it hard to get a grip on them or dig into flesh
Drawbacks: They can only keep their flames dark for about 3 blasts. Their skin isn't as thick around the jugular veighn and the underbelly. Their long range combat skills arent great.

Diet: Warlords are omnivorous, they have back teeth for grassess and leaves and sharp cannines for meat. They will also eat anything they can catch be it fish or animals, or in despiration other dragons.
