Deadly Nadder
Physical Description: Deadly Nadders do not look like typical dragons, with a birdlike posture. It's head is like a bird's, with a beak, and the batlike wings of typical dragons. They have a large cranium, and have horns, which they can flex with the flexible skin within their head-crest. The Nadder is considered one of the most beautiful of the dragons. Known shades for this dragon are purples, greens and blues with a beige or pale underbelly. Males typically have an underbite, whilst females have an overbite.
Typical Behaviour: Because of their birdlike stance, Nadders often land before attacking. Their wings, when not in use, are folded at their sides, like a bird. The blind spot of the Deadly Nadder is right in front of it's nose, but they can often still find you with their superior sense of smell.
Abilities: Deadly Nadders are very good fighters. Equipped with the hottest fire in the dragon world, supposedly burning with the heat of the sun, they shoot out a stream of magnesium-heated flame, they also shoot spikes from their tail when startled, threatened, or, in the case of a tamed Nadder, when intructed by their rider. They will also use their teeth and claws at close range.
Drawbacks: The Deadly Nadder is a very vain dragon and spends much of its time grooming to maintain the luster of his or her scales. Possessing a fiery temperament, Nadder's are flighty and aggressive.
Training Methods: Play a game with them, show them you mean no threat.
Habitat:
Diet: The Deadly Nadder is a very picky eater, much like a Night Fury, but does not eat livestock, for doing so will make it ill. Their diet consists mosty of poultry, with chicken being a favorite.
