This place wasn't too bad for the small boy with a wooden sword. Maybe he should had looked for the short sword Mr. Sharpblade hid in the house. But that would be stealing! And that never really ended well if he got caught with a weapon. But with a wooden sword was embarrassing, he should had stuck with throwing rocks. Irrite shook his head with a sigh as he continued journeying through the woods. Everyone said he needed to get more 'viking-ish' so here he was! Traveling through the thick of the woods with courage! (and a sad looking wooden sword)
"I wonder if they'll believe that I managed to get this far," Irrite murmured, dragging his weapon along the grassy ground. Maybe he could bring some reward from this forest! A hopeful smile formed on Irrite's face. If he managed to do that, he was sure to get some respect from the others! But that sure was a far fetched achievement... Irrite decided it was best to just gather some flowers here and come back unharmed. It was a win-win either way. But all this walking and exploring was so boring! With a shrug, the ViT looked around before he raised his sword and pointed it to a nearby tree.
"It is I! Irrite the Invincible! I have journeyed a great distance to slay you, Lord Badguy!" Irrite sliced the tree with a heroic swing. It didn't do much damage but in Irrite's imagination, it sure did. He even made exploding sound effects to go with it. "Now that I have slayed the corrupted beast! I get to- err... Right! I get to be declared best viking in the whole wide world!" He cheered with a jump, although when he landed, he tripped over the tree's roots and fell face first. "Oooww...." Irrite whined as he stumbled back up.
