Crystilscale
Physical Description: The Males have straight Head Horn, Female's have a slight curve at the middle. The species is the same length of a Nightmare but taller than a Nightfury.
Stats: (Check with the dragon class of your choice for the maximum for each stat, and don't exceed it)
Attack:
Speed:
Armour:
Fire power:
Shot limit:
Venom:
Jaw Strength:
Stealth:
Typical Behaviour: These dragon's are generally very friendly and curious; they will climb aboard ships to check it out till their curiosity runs thin and they slide back to the sea; it's the same in villages, they'll roam about, sniffing and testing things before troting back into the forests. They get along great with water dragons and sharp class, considering they have sharp spikes along their back and a long horn atop their head. They fear monsterous Nightmare's however; usually hissing and swishing their tails violently in annoyance or fear; as Monsterous Nightmares(wild ones) usually prey upon young CrystilScale dragons.
Abilities: This dragon's body is equipped to swimming at great speed under water; faster than it's feathery legs can carry on land. Able to submerge itself inside the depth of water for over an hour and a half before surfacing again. Because of the dragon's large paws; they are very good at digging and burrowing into ice or dirt, making caves and dens; they frost the ceeling to hold it in place so no cave-in's are made. You can tell it's a Crystil Dragon's cave/den when you see frost on the ceeling and large claw marks on the walls. Able to blow freezing temperatures of Ice from it's breath; projecting small to medium sharp ice points at enemy, the shards can grow according to how much the dragon can store inside it's lungs. It's large feet have small hairs between the toes that allow it to help stay firm on ice and not slip; especially when running across frozen land.
Loves to freeze itself in a small body of water to gain health; injured Crystil can often be seen frozen in water from the head down to heal a wound; but it takes at least a week to heal this way, and they are virtually indestructable in their ice shell as they recoperate and heal up. The love of mimicking is strong in these dragons; their curiosity with other creatures leads them to progressive imprinting, giving them a more advanced strategy of fighting, finding food and communicating in different body languages.
Drawbacks: Becoming submerged in a body of water to heal itself for over a week..the dragon can potentially put itself at risk of being discovered; they do act as if they are rock, completly oblivious to the outside world as they rest and heal, but a dragon outside could wait for the dragon to thaw out and capture it at it's worst time of waking up cold.
Training Methods: There's one way to lure a Crystil out of hiding; gathering up a bucket of warm honey and either sailing at sea or wandering at night will bring them to you; they adore honey. It is also the key food to give them if planning on raising/ training these flightless dragons.
Habitat: They are slightly uncommon. You can tell their nests, because they use ice to build them.
Diet: This species is mostly omnivorious; eats plants and other animals. Mainly they eat water plants as they spend about half their day playing, soaking, healing, or hunting in water; they will eat fish but not to keen on the Cod for some reason. They fear ell's like other dragons; but instead of keeping away, they quickly freeze the wiggly suckers to illiminate a chance of becoming crazed if accidently eaten.
