Changewing
Physical Description: Changewings have long bodies and short stumpy legs. They have long sickle-shaped horns on each side of their faces, and a long nose horn. They have spined antenna that are almost as long as their bodies from head to tail - these are somewhat prehensile and can take all sorts of shapes, as well as express emotion. Their hide is very soft, but that is because their skin can change colour according to it's environment. Down their back they have thin, teardrop/leaf-like spines, just like on their antenna. These features help break up their body shape to help them hide when they are camouflaged.
Typical Behaviour: One of the more deadly dragons, Changewings are agressive, and live in prides similar to lions, where the females do most of the work, such as hunting and defense. They are territorial and highly protective of their eggs, travelling for miles to find eggs stolen from them. Aside from camouflage, they can also change their colour depending on their mood, and can also flash brilliant displays of colour as threats, if their hiding hadn't helped for some reason.
These dragons can also be extremely curious. Changewings not only mimc colours, but they also have a habit of mimicking movements as well, an instintual part of them to keep them hidden, such as flexing their body to imitate leaves in the trees. This applies to human and dragon activity in extension, sometimes with interesting effects!i
Abilities:
Unlike most dragons, Changewings spit corrosive green acid instead of fire. Their skin can change to literally any colour, and intricate details, which makes them excellent hiders. They can be near-invisible, unless you look closely. Despite their legs, they are fast movers on the ground, as well as in the air. They are a force to be reckoned with. Because of their special ability to hide, they can settle anywhere they want with little to no problems.
Drawbacks:
Because of their colour-changing skin, their hides are soft and thus easily penetrable by weapons.
Training Methods: They enjoy mimicry, so if you mimic them, be it by their noises or their movements, they will find you fascinating.
Habitat:
Rare? (if so, you will need 150 posts yourself to play the dragon! As well as anyone else who wishes to play them)
Diet:
