Hideous Zippleback
Physical Description: Hideous Zipplebacks are strange, as they have two heads instead of one. They are related to the Snaptrapper. They have rounded heads, with a long curved nose horn at the front of their faces. Their eyes are also near the front, and have a slight overbite with needle-like teeth jutting out from their lower jaws. At the back of their heads, they have a little 'crest' of spines, usually three or four. They also have a pair of horns. On some Zipplebacks, they have spines along their jawline. Their spine are strange plates, that look like zip-teeth, hence their names. They have long bodies, with thin necks and tails, but a broad body. Their legs are short and wings are fan-shaped and somewhat short, denoting a mostly ground-dwelling dragon. Their tails split in two about halfway down.
Typical Behaviour: Hideous Zipplebacks are mostly forest dwellers, and are masters of disguise. Their speciality is ambush predation. Each head has it's own personality, thoughts and feelings. As one head controls one side of the body, it requires a deal of communication and coordination to move around. If they quarrell and bicker, their body may stall out and leave themselves vulnerable to attack.
Abilities:
One head breathes gas, the other head uses an electrical spark to light it. The gas is made of an Ammonium Nitrate and Anhydrous Hyrdazine combination. The head which spews gas is unaffected by dousing.
Excellent at stealth, and moving quietly through the forest.
They have a special ability in combat, to bite their own tails in an ouroboros style, whilst setting themselves on fire with their gas, and charging into the enemy like a giant flaming wheel.
Drawbacks:
If the head that creates a spark gets wet, it will be unable to set it's partner's gas on fire.
When the heads don't get along well, their body may stall out.
Training Methods: Each head must be treated at the same time, this means feeding and playing must be done simultaneously. This also includes commands when flying, to avoid confusion and potential accidents.
Habitat: They mostly inhabit forested areas.
Diet: Mostly fish and woodland creatures, like boar and deer.
