Smothering Smokebreath
Physical Description: Smothering Smokebreaths are Terrible-Terror sized dragons. They are usually light grey in colour with darker undersides. They have a large jaws and strong muscles for carrying objects almost as big as themselves! On each side of their upper jaw they have two 'hooks' jutting forwards. They have long spines that start from their head and follow down their backs, all the way to the end of their long tails. They have large wings and small legs. Along their tail they also have spines to each side, which are a lot flatter and broader than their backspines.
Typical Behaviour: Smokebreaths are social creatures. They live in large packs and work together as a team. Together they create nests out of materials, preferably metals, which they weld together with their flame. When travelling together they fly in groups and use their smoke to keep themselves concealed from potential predators. They are elusive and prefer to stay hidden. They are not agressive, but they are territorial and will defend their homes from any threat, large or small, including vikings! They won't hesitate to plunder the precious metals from viking ships and nearby villages. Their method of concealment has given them an infamy, often referred to as a "Fog Monster", "Fjorg Phantoms" and even ghosts!
Abilities:
They breathe grey-black smoke to keep themselves hidden. They can also emit a short-range, high temperature flame to weld objects. Neither are used aggressively.
They are able to detect and find any kind of metal.
They have excellent strength to fly with heavy objects in their jaws. Though sometimes they may need a partner if it's too heavy.
Drawbacks:
Their strength is through their numbers. One Smokebreath alone isn't enough to keep themselves concealed. They are extremely vulnerable when by themselves.
Training Methods: Create a fancy nest, made of the best scrap metal you can find. Whether they decide to move in or take it apart is up to them, though.
Habitat: Most places. They usually live away from the hustle and bustle to stay hidden.
Diet: Fish
