White Fear
Physical Description: The White Fear is suggested to be a cousin to the Viking known Night fury. Their bodily similarities are near to the same save for the White fears longer legs, white bodies, and the inability to retract their teeth.
Typical Behaviour: Many White Fears are not as skittish as the Night furies are when it comes to first contact with humans. The are more outgoing, but of course they retain their intelligence and wit.
Abilities:
Echolocation
Day-time refraction: Thanks to their white scales, during the day time it can be very difficult to point out a White fear in the sky, their scales almost refract light inhibiting the ability to point them out.
Training Methods: When training a White Fear, one has to be calm, collected and respectful to the dragon. Because of the intelligence of the dragon, their judgement whether to follow a human or not is dependent on a number of factors, primarily how the human presents themselves, how they act, body language and so on. Most White Fears unlike the idea of being submissive to other creatures, such as humans, this is why at first you must not be dominant over the dragon or else you'll loose your progress quickly. Over time however, when the dragon and human bond grows stronger, the Fear does not fret over the whole submissive / dominant factors.
Habitat: The habitat of a White Fear varies. They have been known to seek shelter in forests and mountians, but they seem to be attracted to burrows under ground. These burrows are natural occurring because the Fear seems to have little ability to dig these underground homes. These dragons are quite rare in the regions closer to the polar and tundra areas of the world, but more common midway between the arctic circle and tropic of cancer.
Diet: Primarily fish, but they have been known to eat other meats such as deer or seabirds.
