Time and Date:: December 18th - Evening
Weather:: Cold - Little snow on the ground - Little wind.
The night was cold, the sun was starting to set in the distance before it would return the next day. The moon was rising to take the suns place in the night, and it was sure to give off plenty of light tonight due to it being a full moon on this particular night. Even if the temperature dropped like a rock once the sun was away, it was still nice to be out and about on a soon to be night like this.
Beornwyn was planning on taking advantage of this night to be able to go out into the forests that were nestled near the village and to explore a bit. Naturally enough Delemia accompanied him on his journey into the unknown forests, but it wasn't as if it was a thick forest or anything, he had seen worse when it came to the density of some forests.
The pair took their time to look around, not even paying attention to the fact that the sky was now dark and the moon shone down its light onto the earth below. It was almost as if the moon was acting as another sun, the light that it provided did more than its fair share of lighting up the surrounding environment.
"It s a beautiful night isn't it Delemia?" Beornwyn asked with a smirk as he looked over to the dragon that walked beside him.
"Suppose so, surprised you're not freezing your butt off right now though. It is just a taaaaaad bit cold." Delemia responded to Beorn.
"Hey, we've been around other viking communities right? The weather is all the same where ever they are. Beornwyn smiled to himself and kept walking along, taking in the surrounding environment that seemed to stay the same for as long as he had been paying attention. It didn't take them very long before they came across a spot of interest, a small cove it had seemed like. Beornwyn looked over to Delemia and smiled at him, "No point just sitting here like a pair of rocks. Come on. "
Beornwyn glanced around in the dim light for a way down, only to find a slight slope that seemed like it would bring him right to the based. He figured it was either go down the slope or spend a minute getting on Delemias back and having him just jump down, only to have Beornwyn need to get off right after. Might as well just do things by yourself right?
While Delemia made his own way down, Beorn carefully slid himself down the slope only to have himself land on his butt after missing the moment when he should have prepared himself to land. He sat there for a moment and grunted from the initial impact but laughed to himself as he got himself up off the ground and dusted himself off.
"You silly human Beorn." Delemia commented before he perked up and took a look around their new surroundings. Something had felt different to him all of the sudden. He curiously let go a few chirps into the air and tilted his head as he waited for some sort of response.
Beornwyn sat by and raised his eyebrow curiously as Delemia chirped out. He slowly looked around the cove from every direction, just incase it was something the ambassador sensed that he didn't.
