NAME: Halvar Weldrun
AGE: 25
OCCUPATION: Halvar has graduated the ViT program, but of course, this was quite awhile ago. He started teaching the next generation of ViT's as soon as he was able too. He apprenticed with his teacher until the age of 21, when his teacher let him be on his own. So, now he teaches the young Vikings and when needed will defend Berk.

LIKES:

• The occasional drink when he doesn't have a class to teach the next day.
• Women. Especially ones that can cook, clean, and fight if need be. If they can't, what kind of Viking are they?
• His younger sister, really adores her and let's her get away with just about anything.
• Teaching
• The ocean, especially the occasional fishing trip.
• Dragons. No matter if they are mean or friendly.

DISLIKES:

• Troublemakers in his classes.
• The other Vikings that get piss drunk.
• Heights, when he isn't securely on his dragon.
• Newcomers that look shifty
• Hysterians

STRENGTHS:

• His actual strength. Helping his dad in the woods when he was younger helped shape the muscles that he still has today.
• Dragonese. As a teacher it was basically vital that he learned it, so he did.
• Any kind of sharp weapon that he can swing around.
• He actual has a high alcohol level so it takes quite a bit to get him drunk.

WEAKNESSES:

• Bows and arrows. They have never been his strong suit.
• Injured dragons
• Sometimes can get over confident.
• His sister, anything she wants he will basically get or do.

FEARS:

• Drowning. He loves the sea and will never not go out on it, but drowning would have to be the worst way to go.
• Falling off his dragon at a very high height.
• Hysterians attacking them again.
• Having ViT's fail his class.

AMBITIONS:

• To get over his fear of falling.
• To someday, when he's older, sail the world. Or fly it. That'd be great too.

SECRETS:

• He doesn't particularly like the snow, though he puts on a good front of liking it.
• Though he likes teaching, he doesn't particularly like Ulrika and the rest of the troublemakers. Like the snow, he puts on a good front.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Halvar is like most other vikings on Berk, liking to drink every once in awhile, engaging in combat, excelling at his job, and loving his dragons, But that's not all there is to the man. As a teacher, Halvar is pretty strict. He doesn't deal with the kids that mess around. He deal with a three warnings before doing anything about it though. The first time, is a verbal warning to knock it off. The second warning consists of making the ViT start cleaning the Academy during the lesson and a little afterwards, and lastly the third is finally tossing the ViT out of the lessons and having them come back for one-on-one afterwards. That way there is no distraction. Even if he doesn't like the troublemakers, he has it in his mind that in order to really exceed with his job, all of the student HAVE to pass. He will try his damnedest to make that happen.

Back to his personality. He does prefer to drink and associate with the other Vikings of Berk. He only partakes in the drinking if he doesn't have a class to teach the next day. He'd rather not be hungover while teaching. It isn't very fun at all. For the fighting, he doesn't fight for the hell of it. There must be a reason. He's not going to fight over something stupid either. If someone attacks him, of course he'd fight back. He is usually not the one to make the first move though. Halvar absolutely loves his littler sister and he'd give her the world and more if he could. this would translate over to any other lady that forms a relationship with the man. He does like women who can cook, clean, be able to ride a dragon, and fight if it came down to it. Women that can't hold up their own, he thinks aren't really good vikings.



PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Halvar stands at 6'1" and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. His hair is normally cut short, but there have been times when he has forgotten to get it cut and it has grown out a little. When it does grow out, it is pretty straight. His face is usually kept clean shaven, but like his hair, there are days he will forget and a slight stubble can be seen. He never grows out a beard or mustache.
