Still trying to free Jokul from the water, Spit didn't notice the appearance of the smaller dragons. Or perhaps, the reveal of them. "Thor's iron belt, you are worse to get out of the water than a fishing net!" Amazingly, the whole scandal with the Terrors and Starkad went completely under her radar, until one landed right beside them. She stopped pulling and stared at the purple dragon now perched on her boat.
She couldn't help but snicker slightly at the dragons comment, but then remembered she was meant to be helping. And the dragon clambering onto his back certainly wasn't helping. She cringed as it began to pull at the tie in his hair. "Hey, come on now! Shoo!" Letting go with one arm, likely a very bad idea, she waved her now free hand at the Terror. "Either help or get-" She stopped as something hit her on the head. Cringing a bit, she prayed it wasn't what she thought. As she looked up, she noticed a Terror floating down from the mast. "Watch it!" As she glanced up, the fishy remains slid of her head as something that hadn't been there moments before caught her attention.
The first sign was the smell of burning rope, a mouldy kind of smell that came from old damp rope. Her pupils shrank as she let go of Jokul entirely and pressed herself against the hull of the boat. "W-what?!" Trying to back away from it her eyes were fixed on the small orange flame. Considering the size of it, she was overreacting more than just a tiny bit. "Put it out! Put it out!" She kicked and shuffled, hoping some one would do something. But in the process the boat began to rock more. Naturally she didn't even consider the bailing bucket to scoop some water and put it out, her one and only thought was get as far away as she could. Given it was only a mid-sized boat able to be crewed by one person, this wasn't very far.
Unfortunately in her panic, her best solution was very likely the worst. "Flip the boat!" Frantically putting as much of her weight on one side, she simply repeated. "Flip the boat!"
