HISTORY: Her date of birth is on May 9th in the former Æsir Valley. Fathered by Gook Paska and mothered by Dreki Snaptooth, Dreki inherited her name from her parents. It was planned that she was to marry a tailor's son named Googrin Snotwail, who was an average hunter for dowry. Æsir Valley was a land of pythonesses and the olden ways of religion. The soil was apt to grow dead crops and berries were rare delicacies. Animals feasted upon another and so did the vikings who lived there.
Dreki felt no love for her husband other than the promise of financial return for her parents, keeping her to sustain the dull and lifeless marriage. Normally a sanctity in Æsir Valley, Dreki was far too tired of a half-hearted love. So she took Deadly Moonshade and, brewing a bottle of wine and masking the hint of poison, gave it to her husband on a hunt for refreshment. Googrin, though neutral towards his wife, was not an evil man and was thus mourned for while Dreki held nothing but an ounce of disappointment.
Then Dreki was arranged another marriage with another man soon after. His name was Sloorgouth Hinderbottom, a man in the famed coliseum battles hosted by the chiefdom. In his taste for cooking in which Dreki had been skilled after roasting countless numbers of meat and spices, had attracted his interest. Dreki's mother and father hastily accepted, still floundering in the money and gifts obtained in the event of her status as a widow.
It was with Sloorgouth that Dreki watched and learnt his unique style of combat and used his weapons for training. They lived content for a while, with Sloorgouth feasting upon delicacies and Dreki learning the art of men. Still, it was not to be true and Dreki, feeling that Sloorgouth would kill him should her cooking be subpar, panicked and dressed him up for battle in a lion's cage with a broken axe. He was killed in what was a technical mishap.
She spent the money she further obtained on books of many things. The lands outlying Æsir Valley, the famed dragons which no species we native here, weaponry, and even botany. It was with this taste for knowledge and power that a spider, happening upon her finger from a webbed coffin, bit her and poisoned her.
Stuck in a hospice for many weeks, she became terrified of the creature and people, witnessing her countless number of misfortunes, took to calling her a cursed girl. Her last marriage was with a pauper named Gorith, the illegitimate son of the chief. The leader, named Grottlehook, hoped that her reputation would curse Gorith and free Grottlehook of the endless rumors and scandals.
It was during this time that Gorith would show her what would fascinate her to no end. A dragon egg. Gorith said that, on a trip to Hysteria guided by a merchant during one of Grottlehook's attempts to stow him away, he found an egg with its parents killed. Unfortunately, he had no idea of how to raise the egg and, as of thus, Dreki took the egg as her own child and secret.
Then, not willing to share her child, Dreki took Grottlehook's blade and stabbed Gorith in the heart. Grottlehook, knowing of this slight, banished Dreki to the Outlands and never to return. Angered, Dreki set fire to the village, hastily taking her egg, and spent the next six years wandering in custom sails and on land.
On the third year, the egg hatched into what she identified as a Changewing. Naming the newborn Pluto, Dreki felt the happiest in her entire life and saw herself as the Pluto's mother. Pluto proved to be invaluable, mimicking and camouflaging around nature and being an important hunting ally in the forests.
Eventually, Pluto began to mimic Dreki as well, being able to slightly communicate to her through movements she devised to speak. It was another three years until the arrived at Berk, with Dreki hostile against the people but passive. Now Dreki is doing work behind the scenes with her loyal companion, Pluto, and is planning on giving Pluto an entire world for him and her.

Their hide is very soft, but that is because their skin can change colour according to it's environment. Down their back they have thin, teardrop/leaf-like spines, just like on their antenna. These features help break up their body shape to help them hide when they are camouflaged.
PERSONALITY: Pluto is joyful and energetic, hoping from place to place. He enjoys thrill but, when danger is near, he quickly camouflages and waits to go in for the kill. Pluto's favorite activity is when Dreki feeds him, and though Changewings are typically protective of their eggs, Pluto's mom and dad were killed leaving Dreki as a mother figure.
