weather: a noice day


 Sticksbreath hasn't been active lately, since all he's been doing was sleeping and eating. Sticksbreath had been sick for quite a bit now, and the last few days he's been feeling better. But when he woke up today he was surprised to feel normal. Normal. Frostbreath had been fairly patient lately staying by Sticksbreath for the duration of a few weeks. "Still sick my friend?" Sticks just looks at him. "Aww I thought you were better today and - " "I am better, surprisingly, so let's do something today. 

 Sticksbreath and Frostbreath got some breakfast and went outside. Sticksbreath didn't know what to do or how to do it, but he just knew he could do it. He needed to hangout with some friends, but who? He hasn't been seen in a while, does he have any friend left? He sat on a rock near his house and looked up. It was a nice day today. A noice day. 

Frostbreath relaxed and watched Sticksbreath concentrating on something. What was he thinking about? He just sat their like a statue. Frostbreath at his last fish and relaxed. Today was the first day in a long time to play. He roared excitingly and hoped other dragons would bring their riders, for Sticksbreath sake, and they could have some fun.

Today had been a busy day, the young fisher had been forced to actually help her family out after their impressive haul for the time of year. They even complimented her on how helpful she had been, and for the first time in a very long time, said she could have the rest of the day off. Even her brother had been given the same offer, but he rejected it prefering to continue doing things.

But so far her day off seemed so... boring. After the excitment down at the docks over the fish, this was quite literally the most uneventful things could be. Until a roar hit her like a brick, forcing her to cringe and cover her ears. Even if only one actually needed covered, old habits die hard. "Dragon roaring?" Most people would run away from a dragon roaring, but not her. Not in Berk. A grin spread across her face, and her snail paced stroll turned into a full on sprint.

"Dragon roaring!" She laughed to herself and skidded to a halt, where had it come from? She had a good idea but now she only saw... some guy who looks like he hasn't seen the light of day in a long time. "Eugh.." She pulled a face like someone who saw something revolting, knowing full well that was extremely rude. But then she blinked, noticing what was with him. "Oh, was it you that made that noise?" She asked the dragon, laughing a bit. "Uh..." Well this got awkward and fast. "Who are you any ways?" She directed the question back at the viking whom she had first spotted. Very obviously ignoring the fact that normally, you introduced yourself at the same time.

Sticksbreath obviously rusty with people, didn't even notice the kid until Frostbreath nudged him with his tail. The girl appeared to be talking to him. 
"Who are you anyways?"
"Sticksbreath, my names Sticksbreath"
Frostbreath circled the girl to make sure she was friendly before telling her his name as well. Sticksbreath got up to shake her hand, and than than wondered if she wanted to do something.
" I was wondering, since I know quite the amount of games and competitions if you wanted to do something? " she might be young, but obviously into games.

Frostbreath was wondering if any dragons would show up, so he took off towards the sky and looked around. He saw a few dragons, but they were all working.
"Grr is there anyone who wants to play today?"

Sticksbreath looked up to see Frostbreath circling he ignored it and went back to talking with the girl. He just hoped Frostbreath didn't get lost again.
"By the way, I didn't catch your name"
He looked around to see if anyone else was coming, maybe other dragons so Frostbreath could play, maybe wild dragons or maybe even dirtnag himself. He wondered where that dragon was before Frostbreath landed beside him.
"welcome back Frostbreath, did you get lost again?
"It was you who got lost trying to find me"
"Hehe" said Sticksbreath embarrassed.

She tilted her head slightly, the dragon apparently noticing her first. Still grinning, she blinked a bit. While she wasn't one to judge for odd names, she couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for the guy. What as with this village and names? "Nice to meet yah!" She watched as the dragon circled her, her grin faltering slightly. "And nice to meet you Frostbreath." She let out a small laugh at the dragon before taking his hand in a firm shake.

This statement, her grin spread fully again and her eyes seemed to shine. "Do I ever!" She hardly noticed Frostbreath leaving now, even though she was quite curious about him. "Huh?" She had zoned out a bit and looked genuinely confused. "Oh, uh, Spitnose..." Introductions sucked, but at least you only had to do it once.

It wasn't long before the dragon came back however, and she did notice him landing. She wanted to ask questions about him but held back. That might be a bit... rude? Considering they just met and all. "Hey at least you've never been lost at sea!" She grinned and clapped her hands together. "Now! What shall we do today?" She grinned wide, clearly excited for whatever was in store for her.
