NAME: Aenne, sometimes Sormdancer or Little dragon
AGE: 19
ORIGIN: Aenne was born in Hysteria. She left when she was seven and traveled through the wilderness since then. Aenne didn´t plan to come back, but she traveled through the archipelago with her dragon and they were "captured". Now she lives there again.
OCCUPATION: She is a healer. She knows almost every herb and what she can do with it.

LIKES:
-dragons – she traveled with a few of them, but nothing fix
-flying – she really enjoys the freedom of the sky, whether it is calm and tender or wild and stormy
-plants – she knows many things about herbs and plants in general, because she lived in the wild almost her whole life long
-the sea – same as sky, but different dragons. Breathing is harder when under the surface.
-nighttime - Aenne loves the calmness and solitude of a clear night. She knows some constellations.
-reading. She read an old forbidden book about dragonese together with her teacher in secret. More about that later.
DISLIKES: [at least 4]
-humans. She is half afraid half angry; Aenne has no clue of social interaction with other people. dragons are far better, and plants can´t talk.
-being wet – though she lives in the wild, being wet and cold is really not comfortable. Luckily, a dragons fire can warm her heart.
-any kind of offensiveness – she´s afraid of everything, and she trusts no one but herself. She has some dragons flying with her (similar to Valka maybe), but that´s always just for a week or two.
-having to defend herself – Aenne flees or kills enemies in sleep with poison. Being forced to have a one-by-one fight is the worst thing to her. She is feeble, frail and fearful. (Alliteration ahoi!)
STRENGTHS:
-knowledge – Aenne is pretty clever. She has a plan, she has her weapons. She doesn´t look like one should fear her, but she can be really displeasing if she feels cornered.
-open-minded – she thinks around the corner. That saved her life more then once
-Aenne lived with dragons for more than 10 years now. She knows almost everything, every species, every habit, and how to make them stay with her for a few days. She learned dragonese when she flee from her bullies at the village (to her defense: They almost made her drown in the well.)
-independence – Aenne may fear humans, but the sky belongs to her. Though she never had one dragon to train with and isn´t used to have a saddle or stay on one dragons back, she travels really fast and loves the freedom and solitude of the wild.
WEAKNESSES:
-no conscience. Not at all. She´s murder a baby without hesitating. (Not that she´s do that here!

I´m hesitating here. Aenne lives from day to day, without great plans for the future. Most of all, she wants to enjoy her life and hang around with Photios, don´t be threatened and have as much freedom as she can get.

1)Aenne has once killed someone. It was a barbarian on a little boat. She slept at the beach and when he arrived, he thought she would make a good – you know, wife. *chrm*
She ran away through the island, When it was nighttime, she sneaked back with a bit of cicuta (water hemlock) and killed him.
2)She learned a bit of dragonese from the villages oldest woman, who secretly gave her lessons in simple dragonese. Noone shall ever know, because both of them would be in great danger. (As I read, we are now in war again?)
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Aenne is driven by fears. She keeps herself alive and at the edge at the same time. Without long-range goals or borders, she lives and enjoys the moment as much as she can, knowing she will make her way somehow. Despite that, she fears what she is capable of. Her teacher (that old woman from above and probably the only person who ever really cared about her) taught her a bit of moral. Aenne tries to not lie, kill or steal, but when she feels cornered, she only sees that one way out.
The girl was always good with dragons, I´ll talk about that in “history”. She is clever and smart, and she knows how to survive in the cold rough archipelago.
She fears and hates people since there was no one who really understood her after her teacher died, and she ran away from every sign of a human being. She isn´t a team player, uses the dragons for her own purposes and can´t stay at one place for too long.
Her dragon loves Berk and he is the only reason she is still there. Aenne would do anything for him, and since they even found some aquaintances and the people changed to be good to dragons, it is alright somehow. Aenne always yearns for freedom, and she sometimes breaks out for a week or two.

Aenne refused to speak for one year and a half when she was four, and the girl was bullied for being so feeble and strange. She found hope when her teacher finally showed her something she could do, but when the old woman died, nothing kept her in the city. Aenne flew away on a dragons back when they attacked the next time and she didn´t look back. She knew enough of the world to stay alive.
She discovered early that she had a hand with dragons. She could make them trust her. It wasn´t just the fact that she speaks dragonese, it was more. I believe she thinks in the same way as them, and not like other humans.
She met her dragon Photios in the southern islands and is now in Berk, healing both humans and dragons. She trusts noone except of her dragon.
FAMILY: Father (Hrod) died in battle. Her Mother (Gná) didn´t really care about her, she was the second child of four. Her older brother (Gabriel) is a dragon hunter, the younger twins (Allgott and Baldr) were babies when she left. She doesn´t know what they´re doing now. They seem to have left Hysteria.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Herbs, poison, dragons, physics (which can be a lot of fun), maybe chemics, too (whatever she can get). Just nothing physical. Her biggest plus is her intelligence.

PERSONALITY: Photios grew up in a harsh and cruel world. His family lived underground or hidden in the forests of their jungle island. Some Green Death Hatchlings had conquered it and every fight against them was lost. Photios isn´t a fighter, to be true, he is a coward. It was Aenne who woke true strength in him, but that didn´t change his personality on the long run. Like her, he tries to avoid fights, and if he is attacked, he flees. Despite his fears, Photios is very curious and open-minded. He likes the humans somehow, even though Aenne tries to keep him away from them as much as she can. The Lightscale is fully hers, and through their adventure, they developed a bond a Lightscale can normally only have with another dragon. But Aenne thinks and acts like a dragon, and as wild and free she is, it´s no wonder that he calls her “little dragon” or “Stormdancer”. Maybe he just can´t keep her name, but who cares? They have found each other in times of trouble and they have mastered their skills. Photios and Aenne share their thoughts, and no matter how far away she is, he will always hear her call.
