Species name: Paragoon
Class: Mystery
Images (if any):
Physical Description: With a long, thick boned body; no one would ever suspect the Paragoon to actually lift itself in the air, due to all it's bulk. But with the help of a flight sack that produced helium, this big herbivore beast can be seen soaring above clouds...or trying to helplessly eat them.
Short neck that supports a strange crested head and flaps on top and bottom. Medium front arms for walking on or grasping branches. Thick long legs for kicking, dashing, running and swimming. Chunky and long tail for balance when running on hind legs or bashing other dragons away. It's wings are twice it's actual size to help support itself in flight. The one thing you can distinguish between genders is males have a bright coloreful crest; their songs are loud, long, low and almost alluring. The female's will usually have a soft brown to a mahogany crest; their songs being high pitched frequent and short.
Stats:
Attack:4
Speed:6
Armour:0
Fire power:3 *acid spit-up
Shot limit:3
Venom:5
Jaw Strength: 7(for food mainly)
Stealth: 5
Typical Behavior: Digging, moving around, searching for food. What more would a herbivore dragon want to do than look for food ;D However they can be found snatching your crop, mouthing strange objects and all above being curious of the world of vikings. Occasionally you can hear them sing to their herd mates, that is a true gift to hear. Pups are known as the billy-goats of the dragon world, eating everything they can. Pups don't only eat plants; fish, mutton, anything a Viking eats, paper, chips of wood, handles of axes or swords, coins, gems, basically anything left out by the trainer who is courageous and responsible enough to take on a pup. Only till year 5 do they fully go to only plants.
Abilities:
-High/Low frequency sounds, from the crest atop it's head
- Can spit up stomach acid as an attack
- Fast on land, the muscles in it's hind legs can carry it pretty far at a decent speed, depending on the firmness of the ground
Drawbacks:
-Poorly Armoured, reasoning why Paragoons always try to find a way to flee without getting chased
-Not speedy, it's bulk in the hind-quarters will slow it down in the air
- Constantly must feed, being big means they must feed to keep their energy up. For when they need it most
Training Methods:
Food, to this species, food is the ultimate key. But the type really depends on each individual. With females, it's grasses and weeds and a few small flowers feed to them from the palm of your hand. Do this a few times and their bound to your side because they know you mean to give pets...or food.
Males are picky. If you don't give them the foods they require to keep their vibrant colors to prime, then they won't bother a thought to any trainer. They go for more brightly colored plants, such as your tomatoes and cabbage and turnips. Anything that is brightly colored they will gladly take a nibble on.
Habitat: Common. After the war, there are no threats blocking Paragoon from it's food sources. So migratory herds will be seen often grazing in thick brush or out on open plains. Mainly in the forests for resting, birthing, taking care of young or nursing wounds.
Diet: Mainly Herbivore, anything -besides Dragon Root and Blue Oleander- that grows from the sun and photosynthesizes is fair game to the Paragoon. At the start of life however, a Paragoon pup eats anything it can fit it's mouth around...which can be bad for inexperienced trainers.
