Lustful Deceiver
Images : Credits to Dineo for this 100% savage depiction
Physical Description: They are 25'3" long on average and 6'5" tall with its wings down and head level with its back. With its head up, it gains another 1' in height. Its tail takes up 2 feet of its total length. This dragon has large diamond shaped scales that are tinted a light gray to white shade. It has equal sized legs at 6' long each, and they are bent around the 3' tall area. This caused them to lose about 5" in height that is made up by the back. They have 4 small 3 inch claws on each foot. Two claws face forward, 1 claw faces inwards, and one claw is on the back of the foot. Its wings fold onto its back to help it become less noticeable, but when they are out, they stretch to be 20" long each with a maximum width of 7'. Its head has a proud triangular prism shape with a half circle eye on both sides with small eyelids that close up. They have a patch of scales just below their eyes that shift colors depending on how they feel: pink if feeling desire, red if feeling aggressive or threatened, white if they don't feel either status. Their jaws opens up to a maximum of 2', and their teeth are 2" long. They have small especially armored plates that run down their spine that overlap. They have a pair of small white horns on the back of their head that shift out towards their muzzle.
Typical Behaviour: These dragons are rather social beings who live in small communities of 4 to 5 individuals. In their society, the females rule the males through their assets. This creates a world where everyone is happy, and no one loses in technical terms. There is one alpha female who rules over the entire group, and every dragon takes orders from her. They are nocturnal to avoid fighting when they can, but that doesn't stop every encounter. When encountered alone, they will almost always run, but when in a group they may work together to fight off the aggressor. While they are adequate fliers, and are relatively fast, they are capable of short and quick or long and land movements, and the will use a combination of both to get away if tyey need to. They don't mind vikings, but the dragons only speak dragonese, which can make communication between the two harsh sometimes. If it cannot communicate verbally, it will make an attempt to communicate through body language, but that is not always successful. Each dragon in the group has their own role in the group, and it is vital for each dragon to perform that role or task to keep the group functioning. The roles include the following: Gatherer, hunter in groups of 5, leader, nurse, and look out. Every female dragon is allowed to give birth, but only the nurse is allowed to take care of the dragonlings. If the leader of the pack is killed or removed, the dragons will restructure their hierarchy to have a leader again, or if a new female is being raised, she will be raised to be the leader. This also applies to every role of the group. Should one die or be taken away, a new dragon fills that spot.
Abilities:
1. It breathes a pink fume that messes with the hormones of those who breathe it in. The effects are quick, but not immediate. The effects of the fume vary depending on the objectives of the dragon from making them incredibly angry, incredibly sad, or very lustful. These effects can last anywhere from one hour to an incredible three days varying on the amount of fumes breathed in and the potency of the fumes. If exposure is rapid and repeated continuously for elongated periods of time, an addiction may be formed. Withdrawal may include; intense periods of depression or anxiety; an unusual sleeping habit; wild mood swings uncharacteristic of the person; repeated talk of the fumes of the deceiver; repeated talk of the desire to be normal again; an intense redness of the chest and cheeks; and/or dilation of the pupils.
2. Capable of short distance sprints of 30 mp/h for 20 seconds and long distance jogs of 15 mp/h for up to several hours.
3. It's scales are silky smooth and very soft normally, but when intense pressure is applied, they become header and harder into something equal to iron or more depending on the amount of pressure applied. The effects take a few moments to appear.
4. In addition to hardening the scales, when pressure is applied, glands under the scales will release a gas that causes those that inhale it to see hallucinations. These hallucinations last for roughly 30 minutes. These glands are underneath every scale. The effects are immediate.
5. Night Vision
6. When the dragon feeels threatened, glands releases a mist containing a clear blinding agent in an almost invisible cloud. The blinded effect lasts for 20 minutes. These glands are located next to the Hallucinogenic glands along the tail.
Drawbacks:
1. Lacks any truly offensive attacks besides biting
2. Their breath can actually endanger them more by making the aggressor even more aggressive.
3. Killing them is easy by slowly driving a weapon into their scales and piercing any vital organ.
4. More likely to run from a fight than actually try to engage the aggressor.
5. Recharge of the fumes takes roughly 6 hours and they have a low shot limit.
Training Methods: Training these dragons can be a little complicated and tough at first due to their communal nature. Convincing one to leave their group is the hardest part. The first step is to find a community, the second step is earning their trust, and the third and final step is convincing them to leave. Each one varies due to their status in their society and their love for their peers. Should one be left behind, only their trust must be earned to have them come with you and travel with you.
To earn the trust of these dragons, you must be willing to take in the their fumes and cope with the effects for the full duration as the first step. The second step in earning their trust is to live in their society for a full 48 hours and all the while pick up on behavioral cues. The third step is to find the dragon that you want and begin to associate with them. Getting them to acknowledge you can take anywhere from a few hours to a week, and there is a chance that you will have to brave the fumes more than one time to prove yourself. You will have to perform the role of the dragon you wish to take with you to get them to trust you further. Skipping this step is optional, but highly unrecommended. If you make it this far, you have one more step. You need to go through and find the leader of the group and find a way to ask for permission to take the dragon with you, and you may or may not be denied. Keep in mind that you will still have to ask the alpha female for her permission to take her along should you decide on her being the dragon you wish to take.
When finding a loner, or one abandoned by their group, you must take in their fumes and deal with the effects. The only other step is to travel with them for the original 48 hours that you would have normally lived with the group. After this, the dragon should trust you, but may expose you to the fumes again.
Habitat: They live wherever they can find a substantial source of trees, which is usually a medium to large forest. They are relatively uncommon, but not impossible to find. If one goes deep into any forest, they are almost guaranteed to find at least one group of these dragons.
Diet: These dragons are mostly herbivores due to their inability to hunt. They prefer tree leaves to other plants. If they need to hunt however, they will attempt to woo potential prey into a very vulnerable state and then strike in a very aggressive display of biting and breathing a ton of fumes onto their prey to disorient or confuse their prey. The harder the prey struggles, the harder they hit the scales, the more hallucinogenic pheremones are released, which weakens the prey further. Hunting occurs in groups of 5 or in desperate times for any group.
