Species name: Goldspined Stalker
Class: Tracker class
Images (if any): None
Physical Description: Its a sturdy dragon, with developed for running legs. They are 2 meters in height, and 3 meters in lenght. Its head is square-like, with two pairs of big, zigzag horns (second pair is a little bit smaller). It has 3 pairs of small and stub horns on cheeks, tips are curled down. Stalker's eyes are medium sized, yellow. Its pupil is romb shaped. Its snout is similar to Bull Terriers - long and turned down. Dragon's nostrils are big, very sensitive to touch and smell.
Stalker's neck is short, slightly turned down, so its head is near the surface. Chest is big. Lower part of the body is more narrow than torso. Goldspined Stalker's tail is shorter than its body, heavy enough to knock a person down. Stalker uses its tail for balance, when its running. Wings are short, weak, and pretty much useless (only for attracting opposite sex and gliding). Has dark grey (male) or dark brown (female) spikes on the elbows, tail and back. On tail's end spikes form something similar to grappling hook.
This dragon's legs are its most important and strong part of body. Because this dragon can't fly, it is fast and maneuvering on the ground. Legs are medium sized, with powerful feet and muscles. Talons are short and blunt, so Stalker can't hurt himself while running.
Its colors are NOT bright. This dragon blends with forest for hunting, so the most common colors are green, brown, grey. But, as it is seen in its name, these dragons have golden-ish stripe on their spine line. Stalker has markings - small stripes/spots. They are darker than base color. Most noticeable markings are: "tear" stripes (like cheetah's), big "M"- shaped mark on both shoulders.
Typical Behaviour: Goldspined Stalkers are social creatures. They live in small family groups (3-7 dragons), in small, well hidden caves. They are brave, fast and protective. Stalkers can survive without flying - they have fast legs and a great sense of smell. Stalkers can be agressive towards other species. These dragons are great trackers - they can stalk the prey down pretty easily, especially when they are hunting in groups. Stalkers don't like water and they can't swim, but they like to eat fish. (TO BE CONTINUED)
Abilities:
•Great sense of smell;
•Fast and maneuverous on the ground;
•Tough. Can run/walk with heavy load on its back for long distances.
Shot Limit: 7
Drawbacks:
•Can't fly, because of their weak wings. Goldspined Stalkers can only clumsily glide.
•Problems with swimming.
•Overprotective nature.
Blind spot: Back of the head.
Training Methods: Respect the dragon. Feed it meat, spend with it a lot of time. Do not bring out weapons, it's death sentence for you. These dragons love when their nose gets gently rubbed. When Stalker lets you sit on its back, congratulations - you've earned its trust!
Also, you better have a second dragon, because of dragons social behaviour.
Habitat: Forests with caves and/or small mountains. Avoids snowy areas.
Diet: Eats honey, fish, boars, Vikings, rarely steal sheeps from the village.
