Ok, if you want to join in then please make it clear either to me or in the discussion we've had in the scheming section. Just so we don't get a mess.
Of course people are welcome to arrive but unless you want to ride in on your own dragon then hope you don't miss the ship. Vikings appearing out of nowhere would be pretty weird.
Anyway this trip is for vikings who want to find a dragon or spend some time training their dragon. If you have any other reasons to come then feel free.
Ren lifted one arm high and bent the other behind his head grasping his other elbow and straining a little to work the stress out of his shoulders after a solid day managing the sails or rowing when the winds died down. Still the tall grey blotch on the horizon was close now, they'd be able to land in an hour at most. Turning from the bow of the old ship he glanced over the other vikings and then the supplies they had in the back.
Food, that was a check. Salted meats and boiled vegetables to keep them fresh for as long as they'd be here. Still, more than enough and hopefully there'd be good fishing here.
Equipment, check. A collection of simple saddles and reins that should work on pretty much every kind of dragon they could find as well as a dog eared copy of the Book of Dragons.
Weapons, another check. A few axes, swords, a crossbow. Just simple implements for the risk of dragon attacks. Hopefully it was just dead weight but Ren was happier to have it and not need it.
Finally, dragons. Ren ducked down as a Thornridge swept narrowly close over the boat making it rock awkwardly. That was a big check.
Grinning out Ren looked out over the shore a collection of dragons leaping around on the cliffs and rocks before taking to the wing again as the boat bumped onto the shore. A pale Mudraker pressed its snout up to the timbers and nudged it a few times before turning away and leaping into the water when Ren dropped onto the beach. There shouldn't be any trouble finding a dragon for everyone who'd come and one that fit, no one wanted a dragon that didn't connect to them the moment they saw it. The small cove would make an excellent point for them to set their stuff in, somewhere to group up rather than just running around the island wildly.
