Typhoomerang
Class: Stoker
Physical Description:
Typhoomerangs are very large dragons, and they come in a variety of colors including blue, yellow, red, and orange. They have two large horns and orange eyes. They have long thick necks and wide bodies, and a long thing tail. They have short hind limbs and vast wings. Additionally, Typhoomerangs also have a similar appearance to Timberjacks.
As young they walk on their forelimbs like a wyvern, but as they grow older they learn to walk bipedal as their wings grow to a size too large to use for walking.
Typical Behaviour:
Typhoomerangs are high strung, hot headed and passionate dragons, and they can be extremely dangerous, or becoming over-dramatic attention hogs. Their flame spirals can be used as a territory marker, or as a mating display. Like all dragons, Typhoomerangs are extremely protective of their young.
Abilities:
Typhoomerangs have the unique ability to resist the toxic effects of eels on dragons. In fact it is a staple of their diet.
They also have a unique but devastating fire ability - From launch they spin in circles, breathing and sweeping fire in all directions in a deadly cyclone of fire. There are spiral scorch marks left behind and the surrounding area is usually destroyed. If it uses it's flame attack in the air, it gives them a brief boost in speed, but at the cost of a shot.
Despite their large size, Typhoomerangs are shown to be very fast fliers
Shot Limit: 2, but eating eels recharges their shot limits quickly.
Drawbacks:
Despite being fast fliers, they lack maneuverability.
There is no "gentle" version of their fire. It's all or nothing, and there could be devastating consequences if used wrong..
They are VERY slow on the ground, at most able to walk at a slow amble.
Blind spot: Behind them. They can also be out-maneuvered in the air.
Training Methods: It is difficult, due to their firey temperment. You could probably coax them with a basket of eels.
Habitat: Typhoomerangs live in many areas in the archipelago, where there are forested areas with streams. They concentrate the most on Eel Island, however.
Diet: Primarily Eels, then fish.
