Time and Date:: February the 10th
Weather:: Thick layer of snow, still snowing. The sky is covered by thick clouds.

The changewings did a hard work at getting rid of the snow covering their lair, doing their best to protect the eggs from the cold. Days of work finally did something as the snow mostly vanished from the small island they were living on... Actually, only the area where they lay eggs was freed from this white, cold powder. Unfortunately, snow will come back soon. Changewings knew it when looking at the sky. Their efforts would be endless...
Not everyone was working. There were changelings wandering away from their island for many reasons : hunting, exploring, looking for a mate even if Snoggletog ended. Krënl did not really care about mating right now. His first concern was absolutely different. If anyone asked him about it, he would reply 'I want to know what I can do with that cold powder falling from the sky'.
Walking across a thick forest, constantly moving around trees, Krënl decided it was not worth it to cloak himself since he noticed the pawsteps and the trail left by his tail over the snow. Anyone being a tiny bit smart would know there was something there in the end. So why would he hide ? There seemed to be no one around him but wildlife and trees anyways.
Wandering around like that was useless to the changewing. Krënl doubted he would find out what could be useful with snow but tracking down creatures. Leaning his snout toward the ground, he sniffed some at the white floor and takes a small bite of it. The dragon shivers a bit, surprised by the cold over his tongue, but it quickly became liquid and refreshing. It was water. Krënl smirked some and let out a low purr, happy to have found this. It was so easy to discover... There must be something else.
What happened to the ground beneath ? Did it vanish ? Did it get eaten by the cold white powder ? The changewing laid down and started digging into the snow, soon reaching the frozen grass and dirt. Nothing happened to it there. How about further ? Digging his snout into the snow, Krënl started crawling forward, pushing the snow to the sides as he progressed. There must be something !
Everything he found was a tree. A poor tree that only wanted peace. And suddently a changewing headbutted it. It was mean ! Nature decided to avenge itself by making the snow over the tree's branches fall over the dragon, burrying him beneath it. Krënl whined a bit at being surrounded by more cold and shook himself strongly, sending snow in every direction. Stupid weather... But there must be something beneath that layer of snow ! Determined, the changewing kept doing this over and over. Maybe exhaustion or lack of patience would make him stop someday.
