Sheep herding... oh my. (OPEN POST!!)

[Saxi and Sub-Zero]

Saxi sighed as he noticed his neighbor's sheep roaming about his yard...AGAIN! This was the third time in less than a month. The sheep were happily munching on his well maintained, manicured garden and had to qualm with eating his freshly planted lupines in his flowerbed. He whistled for Sub-Zero who came barreling out of the barn, throwing his head and extending his wings as he ran, dragging a large log in his jaws. Said log was his favorite chew toy. Saxi had lightly burned it for him to give it a nice smoky taste that just felt nice to sink his needle sharp teeth into. Sub-Zero's jaw dropped, as did the log when he saw the massive amount of grass munching fluff balls that where demolishing the yard.

"Again?!"  Sub-Zero groaned at the idea of having to round up these sneaky little puff balls again!

"Again." Saxi confirmed, Throwing his leg over Sub-Zero's bare back. "Just have to put them back. Take a wide sweep around the back and try to bunch them in real tight. then maybe nudge into the pen again?" Saxi sugjested to the dragon who rolled his eyes, having been through this a hundred times before. He went around the edge of the sheep, quietly trying to re-corral his careless neighbor's sheep. Absolute silence was very important, the slightest noise risked spooking the sheep off into the nearby forest and warranting a search party to retrieve the scattered livestock.

[Ulrika&Timber]

[ooc could you make the date a tad earlier for personal timeline reasons? :3]

Ulrika was told by to go around and see if anyone had errands to do. She didn't really want to so she didn't really make an effort to help around so she didnt get her nose into anything. But she was super bored. There was some sheep blocking her path, so she carefully weaved her way in and out of the animals.

She didn't realise that her dragon, Timber, was sneaking up behind her playfully. Suddenly the dragon leaped to pin Ulrika! She was crushed to the floor by the dragon, and the sheep suddenly scattered, upset and distressed by the sudden action of the dragon!

For a good moment, the viking in training was stunned and winded. Reeling back to her senses after a couple of minutes, she began to squirm, knowing who it was. Timber had been very annoying recently.  Getting her breath back, the only volume she could escape was nothing short of a yell. "TIMBER! LET ME GO!" she cried, trying to wriggle away but held fast in the Night Fury's clutches. "I WONT MAKE YOU SUPPER!" The Night Fury was unfazed by the threat and gave her a big wet slobbery lick. Ulrika shuddered as she felt the excessive wetness run down her neck, hair and into her clothes. "Ewwwww!!!"

The sheep, now spooked had scattered far and wide.

[Saxi and Sub-Zero]

(ooc: how much earlier? hour? a day?)
Saxi was about to have the sheep bunched together in a tight clump and push them through the pen until a shrill yelling spooked them into dispersing wherever their legs carried them into the nearby wilderness. Thus, taking some of his fence with them...

A blank expression passed over the dragon rider for a moment before he felt that rush of rage Saxi was known for. He grit his teeth for a moment before finding the culprit. of course it was Ulrika. Seemed every time something went crash or boom around berk it usually had something to do with her. ViTs where the reason no one could have nice things. 

"Ulrika... come here please..." Saxi groaned somewhat calmly as he walked Sub-Zero close to the pair, sliding off the dragon's back to face the rascally Vit.
"Oh Please give her the jar!!! You wrote some good punishments last night!!" Saxi looked to the dragon before realizing what wasn't a half bad idea.

"Go get the jar. It's in the barn and bring it back here. Your going to be the first to use the jar of punishment." Saxi crossed his arms leaning against Sub-Zero.

"OOOH someones gonna geeeet it!!!"Sub-Zero crooned like a spoiled child, sitting next to the night fury to watch what was about to go down.

[Jokul & Starkad]

Starkad couldn't believe her eyes. Sheep! There were tens of them littered around the area, and no farmhands to stop her. Crouching behind a barrel, she honed in on one particularly fluffy one that wasn't too far away.

Bobbing her head, she chanted, "Sheepy sheepy sheepy sheep-"

"Don't even think about it." Startled, the hobblegrunt's rear end launched into the air. This sudden movement made her previous target scatter amongst its brethren. "Jokul!" She whined. "It got away!"

The teen ignored her and went about his normal daily routine of gathering supplies for his mother. Except, of course, he had to make sure his dragon was following, lest she decide to scare some poor helpless sheep. He was sure they were out and about for an hour until he decided it best they go back home.

Unfortunately, on the way back, Starkad had spotted a lone sheep munching the grass not ten feet from the side of Jokul's hut. In an instant, she crouched, froze, and popped open her frill. With his arms were full of leather and wool, he couldn't even begin to stop her. So instead, he braced himself to hear the inevitable sound of something breaking, whether it be wood splintering, or metal clanging together.

As predicted, the hobblegrunt practically threw herself at where the wooly creature stood, shattering the fence just behind it when she missed. As it scampered off, Starkad followed in pursuit, leaving Jokul staring at the ground alone. Why me? Sighing, he decided it best to let her get in trouble and find her later. After all, she won't be too hard to find, right?

"SHEEPY!" The bright yellow and green dragon sprinted desperately after her prey, not even stopping to look at where she was going, or the destruction she left behind her. The unlucky sheep she was chasing looked for a way out of its predicament. Eventually, it saw others of its kind and made a mad dash directly for them.

By the time the group had dispersed, Starkad lost sight of her original victim. She was tempted to go after another, but she sniffed the air to find a much better object of interest. Timber, to be exact.

Turning back around, she looked around for the older dragon. Immediately, she spotted the black hide standing beside a dark gray one. Even betterer! She always tended to get bored and rowdy when Jokul was training with the other ViT's, so Sub-Zero was the go-to dragon to let her energy out on.

Scampering up behind the larger galewing, she ungracefully hopped up onto his back. "Sub Sub!" She bounced and playfully bit his shoulder.

(OC- I swear, you can delete this if you want. I was bored... and alone... and wrote this up. if you were planning something, you are completely free to kick me out or ask me to change something. Especially that Sub-Zero-Starkad interaction at the end there. I just did a quick once-over on Sub-Zero's personality app... and thought he and Starkad would have had previous interactions. Up to you guys though!)

[Ulrika&Timber]

Timber's ears perked as she heard the footsteps of both rider and dragon advancing towards them. She arched her back protectively, firmly digging her claws into Ulrika. She gave a short yelp as she did. Saxi was always so mean to Ulrika! Timber wouldn't let him have her. Nope.

"T-Timber..." Ulrika coughed, as the dragon didn't seem to realise the amount of pressure she was putting on the girl. She knocked at one of the dragon's fore-feet, but to no avail. A grumble from the Night Fury sent vibrations coursing through her body.

"I'm not letting you be mean to Ulrika again!" Timber growled at the teacher and the dragon. Suddenly her ear twitched and she couldn't resist to look the otherway, her eyes were met with a sudden flash of yellow and green past her. She naturally flinched, making Ulrika yell in pain, but thankfully relaxed as she realised Timber wasn't the target of Starkad's playtime. She watched as the little dragon pestered Sub-Zero. The Night Fury accidentally let out a chuckle.

Ulrika saw Saxi's face. "Uhm, actually - cough- Timber stay where you are." She said meekly, trying to shrink herself as small as she could under Timber's grasp, wishfully thinking she could escape from Saxi's potential wrath. According to Ulrika, EVERYTHING makes Saxi mad at her.

[Saxi and Sub-Zero]

Saxi gave a light smirk at the night fury's over protective attitude. "Relax Timber, nothing in the jar of punishment is too terrible. I may be cold and mean but I'm not cruel. Most of the 'punishments' are simply labor. Easy enough, right?" Expression seemed to become much more relaxed when speaking to the dragon rather than speaking to humans.

Sub-Zero cracked a smirk when he saw the little dragon coming for him. the second the 'vicious attack' started he turned on the drama and cried in false agony. "OH NO! Timber! SHE'S GOT ME! *cough*" Sub-Zero dramatically fell forward onto the ground, wings spread out and he lay motionless. "Tell my log I love her! I can see the light of Valhalla and the angels calling me name!" Sub-Zero coughed reaching a hand like front foot toward the heavens before dramatically dying, closing his eyes and holding his breath.

Saxi seemed initially alarmed by his dragon's display of death before realizing it was all fake as soon as he started spouting the monologue. He pinched the bridge of his nose before laughter began to escape him. this was uncommon but seemed Sub-Zero's awful acting was making him laugh. "Alright, well, ill go get the jar. you stay here." Saxi headed off to the barn as Sub-Zero lay, continuing to play dead.

[Jokul & Starkad]

Starkad always loved it when someone played with her. Considering the alternative was usually getting yelled at or shoved away, she'd take every chance for fun she could. It was even more rare she comes across an activity that isn't in anybody's way, or destructive.

As Sub-Zero shifted underneath her, she readjusted her footing to keep herself upright. Eventually, her 'victim' fell limp underneath her. Overjoyed at her playmate's surrender, Starkad stumbled awkwardly across his back, and stood on his forehead. To keep from falling over, she hunched over to all-fours, and unfurled her wings to correct her balance. After that, the hobblegrunt bent down to look Sub-Zero in the eye, albeit upside-down.

"I win! I win! Does that mean I can have your log?"

Before she bothered to hear his answer, her sensitive frill twitched from Saxi's laughter. With her energetic mood, the hobblegrunt hopped off Sub-Zero's head, no doubt searching for something else to get into. While zig-zagging back and forth, she stuck her nose into the light snowfall, making a unique path as she did so.

She didn't even notice Saxi's retreating form, and edged closer to Timber and Ulrika, one of which, was still on the ground. Taking advantage of this, Starkad sniffed in the area around her, knowing a certain night fury might not take kindly to her standing on her beloved human.
