Time and Date:: January 10th, Midday
Weather:: Normal, dull Berk (Cloudy, somewhat cold)
Previous Threads?:: A mini-rp that was never actually posted (Still going on in my PP)
To most who've met him, Jokul wasn't the type for fooling around. He wanted to do what he had to get done, and get out of everyone's hair, which is the main reason people questioned his choice of dragon. She wasn't what you'd call easygoing by a long shot.
Some people assumed his mother forced their friendship, due to the fact Starkad was her own dragon's only daughter, and then there was the idea that he actually pitied the dragon for somehow causing her injury. Of course, they were wrong on both counts.
He only tolerates her because that's what family does. I mean, surely he isn't the only older sibling out there to be annoyed by the younger, right?
So having been given an opportunity to be free of her for a day, Jokul jumped at the chance.
For all he cares, Spit can deal with the little ball of energy for a week and he wouldn't object to it. She'd asked if he felt like 'trading her' for the day, and though he knew she'd meant it as a joke, he still wondered what the girl's scauldron would be doing.
He only met her once, but from that one encounter, he picked up on her even-tempered attitude. It only made the connection between Crystal and Spit that much more of a mystery. That's it... I have to find her. The teen had considered questioning Spit about it, but that would entail having to be within Starkad's 'tackling zone'. They're probably causing enough trouble as is. And he wanted absolutely no part of it.
And this was how he was brought down to the nearest secluded beach he knew of. He had no way of knowing if the beast would even show up, but the least he could get out of it is some quiet time.
"Alright, you sack of fish scales..." He plopped down on the rocky coast, his arms keeping him from falling backwards. "...Let's see why you hang around the brat."
