Time and Date:: January 6th, Late Morning
Weather:: Snowing (Only flurries though); almost no wind
Previous Threads?:: None
"Nope."
"Come on!"
"No"
"Please!"
"Not this time, Stark."
"B-but Mama-!"
"I don't care what mom said, I'm not playing any of your stupid games today." The teen lounged back onto the snow-ridden ground, arms crossed behind his head. His hobblegrunt was far from joining him. Her tail lashed back in forth in annoyance, her colors shifting to red.
Jokul's peaceful moment was shattered when the breath was knocked out of him. His eyes flashed open to find Starkad sitting on his chest, her claws curving around his shoulders to keep from losing her balance. "Get. Off." He wheezed, his voice dangerously calm. She might've only been a year old, and only twice the size of a sheep, but she was heavy!
She huffed into his face and remained where she was . "Go bug someone else! I'm sure you can find some poor chicken to play tag with. Now get off! I can't breathe!" He pushed against her belly and chest, only to have her claws tighten and dig into his back.
"Gods damnit, Starkad! Get your fat reptilian arse off of me!" He fought back harder, bringing his feet up to try and pry her off. "I'm not going to be your entertainment just because you're bored!" Little did he know that she was enjoying this game; enough so a few happy clicks escaped her mouth. "Are you really trying?"
I feral snarl came from the boy beneath her as he threw his body to the side; her along with it. Taken by surprise, Starkad's grip faltered just long enough for the boy to free himself. "Why do I even put up with you?"
The colorful dragon flipped over to shake herself off, sending snow in all directions. "Because the Red Girl likes me." At the mention of said 'Red Girl', Jokul's face heated up. "S-she has nothing to do with you being my dragon!" He retaliated, reverting back to Norse. "And you're lucky I let you near her in the first place! Last time you pushed her down and scared Nima!"
The hobblegrunt's eyes casted downward, avoiding her rider's. She knew very well what she'd done, and hated when he brought it up again. "So go find something else to torment. Because I'm done with you!" He pointed off towards to village square. "My back's probably got scratch marks on it now..." He mumbled as he lied back down, just as he was before. For added measure, he shifted his helmet to cover his eyes.
Starkad sat as still as a flightmare victim, having only her eyes look up at the teen guiltily and then back to the ground. A low croon came from her mouth; equivalent of a human sobbing, before she dashed off to hide somewhere in the village.
Jokul tipped the helmet up just enough to see where she'd been standing, only to find nothing. Great... Shade and Mom are going to love this.
[OOC - To whoever joins, just write up a reply. No need to plot. Because I honestly had no plans ready for this. I mean... your charrie could find a crying Starkad on top of a house... or find Jokul sleeping in the snow. Anything you think will work ]
