Halldor groaned. Today was going to be an awfum day, he knew it as soon as he slipped on the ice this morning. A great feat for the village chief, no less. Carrier also made sure he'd remember that, as well. He knew he had to assist with a lesson today, but there was always so much to do. Before he could even get to the arena he had to settle two disputes.
Carrier took him to the arena, after heavy persuasion. He arrived later than he had hoped, but early enough that the lesson hadn't yet begun. Of course, Carrier, being the Monstrous Nightmare that he was, just had to make a grand entrance.
Finally dismounting, he noticed his partner who he would be supervising during the lesson - Rilkar. He was a bit iffy about him, as he was about all outsiders. He was very, very new to dragons, and he didn't like how he couldn't see them as more than just an animal. However he was eager to learn, and he hoped maybe exploring his foreign fighting style with the kids could be handy for them in the future, in the case of a non-viking attack.
"Greetings, Rilkar. Are you ready for today?"
Carrier slithered off as the humans started to converse. He was after some Trainees or some dragons to terrorise.
